SUSHI DESSERTS

INGREDIENTSDessertSushi-

1 12 ounce bag white chocolate chips
1 ½ cups Rice KrispiesTM
5 Fruit Roll UpsTM
5 Swedish FishTM
5 TwizzlersTM or Red VinesTM
no-stick spray

PREPARATION – CANDY MIX

Cook white chocolate chips in saucepan on medium heat for 3-to-5 minutes or until chips completely melt. Stir frequently. Add Rice KrispiesTM. Mix with spoon.

Divide candy mix in half and transfer candy mix to 2 cookie sheets.

PREPARATION – TWIZZLER SUSHI

Use hands or knife and first half of candy mix to make candy circles 1″ high and 2″ across. Cut 2 Twizzlers into 1″ pieces. Place Twizzler pieces upright in middle of candy circles. Wrap fruit roll up around Rice Krispy circles. Use kitchen scissors or knife to trim off excess roll up. Put wrapped circles on cookie sheet. Put cookie sheet in refrigerator for 30 minutes to one hour to let Twizzler sushi harden.

PREPARATION – SWEDISH FISH SUSHI

Use hands or knife and second half of candy mix to make pieces 2″ long, 1″ wide, and 1″ tall. Place Swedish fish lengthwise on top of each piece of candy. Wrap fruit-roll up around candy piece and Swedish fish. Use kitchen scissors or knife to trim off excess roll up. Put wrapped geometric shapes on cookie sheet. Put cookie sheet for 30 minutes to one hour to let Swedish-fish sushi harden. You are now a sushi warrior. Banzai!

TIDBITS

1) I used a lot of brand products in this recipe. I’m hoping for corporate sponsorship. Soon, the money will be rolling in. Checks on-line bank account. Where’s the money? Taps foot. Perhaps the companies whose products are listed in this prestigious blog and the corresponding cookbook have sent their checks by mail. Looks in mail box. Nothing. Looks again. Still nothing. Well, there’s only one explanation left. The zombie apocalypse has begun and in corporate America. There will not be a second tidbit for this recipe. I’ll be busy zombie proofing my home.
