Genghis Khan Heir Suing US Congress for Defamation of Character

81px-Genghis_KhanA New York City taxi driver who is descended from the Mongolian emperor Genghis Khan is suing the US Congress for defaming the character of his infamous ancestor.

Ali Wilfred Starbucks Khan, a resident of Queens, claims that every time Congress messes up, pollsters remind Americans that the institution is even less popular than Genghis Khan.

“I’m sick and tired of it. My ancestor was a warrior who raped and pillaged his way across Asia to earn his bad ass reputation. All Congress does is nothing or tries to shut something down and they take all the credit for being the worst,” said Khan. “It’s just plain wrong.”

The multi-million dollar lawsuit is unprecedented said Byron H. Precedent, Professor of Law at the University of Rock Bottom, IL, but it could pave the way for similar legal actions from other groups slighted by pollsters of Congress’s record-low approval ratings. These include, cockroaches, specialists in root canals and colonoscopies, used car salesmen, and Nickelback.

A number of law firms have offered to represent Khan, including Take, It and Run, the Manhattan-based firm that successfully sued the Shingles Coalition for claiming that they are less popular than lawyers.
