The Blizzard of 2015 is upon us. At least, I hope it is THE one and only blizzard of 2015. As much as I like new-fallen snow, enough is enough.
It’s hitting here in the city, and sparing the people upstate. Maybe it’s trying to tell us something.
But hey! What are a couple of feet of snow to a real New Yorker? We take major weather occurrences with great bravery and heroic acceptance, which is in direct opposition to the way we complain like two-year-olds when we get a few drops of rain or the temperature dips a few degrees. A blizzard or a hurricane? FUHGEDDABOUDIT!
I plan to look out the window tomorrow, say “Ooh!” and stay inside all day. That sounds like a plan.
It’s only January Kathy. I’d be massively surprised if you guys don’t get a sequel!
We got off surprisingly light this time. The storm veered toward the east, and we were only grazed by it. New England was hit much harder.
I agree, though. It’s only January. We could still get slammed by a good one.
