ididntknowyoucouldmakebirthdaycakefromscratchfinalcoverDorothy Rosby was back this week to talk about her  book I Didn’t Know You Could Make Birthday Cake From Scratch: Parenting Blunders from Cradle to Empty Nest as well as her award-winning humor column that spans eleven states and includes more than 30 newspapers!  I love discussing midwestern life with her too! Such a talented writer and you will laugh reading her essays for sure.

Her column has been recognized by the South Dakota Newspaper dorothyrosbyphotoAssociation, the South Dakota Federation of Press Women, and the National Federation of Press Women. She is also the author of the humor book, I Used to Think I Was Not That Bad and Then I Got to Know Me Better. Visit her website at www.dorothyrosby.com. Follow Dorothy on Facebook and Twitter

She is a former journalist who made an unscheduled stop into humor more than 20 years ago.
