Well, it’s fall again, the favorite time of year for runners. The heat and humidity of summer are gone, the mornings are cool and the weather is ideal for running.
5K’s, 10K’s, half and full marathons abound and are popping up all over the neighborhood. You could probably run 2 a week is you were so inclined.
The ironic thing is, you are paying to run in a race on a trail that you run for free at any other time of the year!

Good point! But something drives those runners to fork over the entry fee–right? LOL
Absolutely, it may a run for a charity they are passionate about, a couple of friends signed up so they did, it’s cooled off and they may have an opportunity to place in the top 3 of their age group or maybe they figure they’ve got home field advantage {grin}.
