Get Your Tweeter On

On the heels of Rick Perry’s recent award for “proficient use of new media”, he encouraged followers to go out and use “Tweeter”. Pundits think that this will hurt Perry’s potential Presidential hopes by making him appear like a doofus. However, this is not a given.

You have a “base” for a reason, and millions of Texans are still furiously trying to sign up on “tweeter.com”.

  1. I user tweeter, I’ve got some in my speakers with one tweeter each. Got a sub-woofer too. Not sure what I’d want with a tweeter with dot com, does it work in a higher range then a normal tweeter??? 😉

  2. I think “Tweeter” is the right word for a speaker that has a high-sounding pitch! He must be either a tweeter or a woofer, because he sure isn’t mid-range!

  3. Perhaps he’s just trying to avoid the “twit” word, something he seems more and more as representing.

      1. He is then a complete and utter asshole. How did he get elected again? Did they drug people? I don’t understand or did LYC (initials)come by and make people vote for him at gunpoint?

        1. By now, he’s said “tweeter” so many times, he cannot correct himself (“sign of weakness” for Republicans – continuing to be an idiot is preferable to admitting error). Kind of like GWB and nuke-ya-lar.
