In an effort to switch to the western side of the International Date Line, Samoa and the New Zealand territory of Tokelau will eliminate Friday this week. Yep, Friday is completely gone forcing people to find ways to adjust to the missing day. In an effort to help the citizens of these countries, the United States has sent Lindsay Lohan and Charlie Sheen as goodwill ambassadors. If there were any two people who understand what it’s like to forget Fridays — or for that matter– Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays, it’s these two.
Why couldn’t they eliminate a Tuesday instead? That is probably everyone’s least favorite day of the week.
