Virginia adding ‘conscience clause’ to adoption laws
While these are private adoption agencies, they do receive state funds. This so-called conscience clause would apply in cases where your conscience is also a bigoted dickhead.
Every time I read the news I become more and more frightened about what is happening to the people in this country. I am aghast at the number of steps backwards we take on a regular basis. I think that we should change the words in the national anthem to “From the land of the bigoted to the home of the narrow minded and arrogant.” It’s amazing how hateful the religious are.
