JOLLY COLIN KAEPERNICK HOLIDAY SONGS
(By the Fire… tune of “Winter Wonderland)
49ers by the fire
A new quarterback… is their desire
Alex Smith is okay
But if he went away
To some, it’d be a specially good day.
Colin Kaepernick, they want to be their quebee
Yes, he’s a rook, but plays unlike a newbee
He’s got a new trick
He passes very quick
In fact, he makes opponents look quite sick.
Of all the rookies in the NFL
The quarterbacks in all have done quite well
But Colin Kaepernick
Has looked very slick
Playing for the boys at Candlestick.
(“Kaepernick” tune of “Jingle Bells”)
Oh, Kaepernick, Kaepernick
Colin all the way
Oh, what fun it is to write
‘Bout a contr’versy of today
Kaepernick, Kaepernick
Slingin’ all the way
Oh, what fun it is to write
Quite the argument I must say
(tune of “Do You Hear What I Hear?”)
Do you hear what I hear?
Said the linebacker to the corner back
Moving to the nickel, corner back
Do you see what I see?
A quarterback, running with the ball
And he’s heading right for the goal
And he’s heading right for the goal
Said the corner back to the safety free
Do you see what I see?
Running with the ball, safety free
Do you see what I see?
A rookie, named Colin, running with the ball
Running wild, just like a banshee
And he’s heading straight past you and me.
I like Alex Smith better. 🙂 Harbaugh is a dick the way he uses players. That being said, you are the best holiday sports poet out there. Sheer genius!
Thanks Donna. With Harbaugh, it seems to be working. We came close, last year, to a brothers Harbaugh Super Bowl.
Now, as far as Holiday sports song parodist, you’re too kind.
However, I do claim the title of holiday shower song parodist. I’ll take all the Christmas Carols and convert them into shower songs (songs you can sing in the shower about taking a shower.)
Sample:
Joy cleans the tub of dirt and grime!!
The porcelain will shine!
Let ev-e-ry wash rag wipe.
Let ev-e-ry tub brush scrub.
And clean that bath tub ring!
And clean that bath tub ring!
And c-lean and c-lean that bath… tub… RING!
HA HA And FYI, my dogs do this for Christmas cards. They have clients all over the country for doggie yuletide greetings!
