Now There’s a Pregnant Idea

It appears that I was born too early to deceive young nubile girls into “giving up their flower” to satisfy my strong adolescent sexual urges.

A new government study suggests a lot of teenage girls are clueless about their chances of getting pregnant.

In a survey of thousands of teenage mothers who had unintended pregnancies, about a third said they didn’t use birth control because they didn’t believe they could get pregnant.

What were they thinking, exactly, isn’t clear. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention survey didn’t ask teens to explain their reasoning.

But other researchers have talked to teen moms who believed they couldn’t get pregnant the first time they had sex, didn’t think they could get pregnant at that time of the month or thought they were sterile.  SOURCE

Now we could talk about how many parents refuse to properly inform their teens about the consequences of sexual intercourse but clearly teen boys are taking advantage of this naivety to score.  Here’s a likely scenario that could possibly lead up to such consequences as the young girl and her boyfriend are making out in the back seat of his car on Sweetheart’s Ridge.

“Come on Sue.  Let’s me show you how much I REALLY love you”

“No Peter.  I know when the cows do such stuff on our farm that it usually results in a baby calf.”

“Awwhh horsefeathers Sue.  That’s because they’re full grown animals.  Girls your age can’t get pregnant the first time they have sex.  Besides it’s the first week of the month and everyone knows girls are sterile during that period of time.”

“Really?  But momma told me to say no if you made such advances Peter.”

“I’ll buy you an ice cream sandwich afterwards sweetheart”

“Oh Peter.  Take me, I’m yours”

    1. This is true Mike but it’s the strong urge that ignorance allows which is definitely blissful. 😉

  1. We weren’t taught much about sex, but the nuns in our Catholic school, and the priests who ran our parish, put such guilt and fear into us that most of us didn’t dare “go all the way!” I even remember having to model my 8th grade graduation dress for the nun who was my 8th grade teacher so that she could measure the back of it to make sure I wasn’t showing too much skin!

Hehe! This was going way too far the OTHER way!

    1. I too was raised Catholic and the nuns’ firebrand method of condemnation for experiencing anything resembling lust gave me feelings of guilt and shame during sex that didn’t subside until I was 33, or thereabouts.

  2. How sad that in this fine piece of humor is so much truth. All because some think that if you teach young teens about sex, they will do it. Somehow, they believe that ignorance leads to abstinence. Greap post!
