Tom Cruise’s new film, previously titled One Shot, just recently got the kiss of death by being renamed, Jack Reacher.
Apparently, the film’s producers haven’t seen John Carter (2012) or Larry Crowne (2011). And if you’ve never heard of these movies, then you, too, know what I’m talking about.
I’m sorry, but One Shot is just a million times better than Jack Reacher. One Shot has intensity. The phrase is frequently used in Eminem’s Oscar-winning song, “Lose Yourself.”

Jack Reacher sounds like a sarcastic pseudonym for a man who has no personal boundaries while stretching for peanuts on your side of the bar.
I think I know that reacher. Suddenly, I got a creepy feeling and do not want to see this flick!
They may as well just name this movie, “Pervy McCopafeel.”
And probably only because she’s a real person!
They’ve done research on that and films with a person’s name always bomb. The only one that did well? Erin Brockowich.
