Mighty Martin McNamara is a mighty man with no name. Known only as ‘Hands’ because he never puts his hands in his pocket to buy a round, he was given the nickname ‘The Miserable Greedy Dog’. The man with no name except ‘Mighty Martin McNamara’, ‘Hands’ and ‘The Miserable Greedy Dog’ has always been selfish with money. He does, however, share the odd joke:

They’re usually based on people I have the misfortune to know, with a massive amount of exaggeration, thrown in for good measure.
Exaggeration is good. Humorists are supposed to exaggerate. Using people you know is also good, as long as they continue to let you live.
There have been a few occasions where I’ve offended people but when they calm down and stop throwing verbal abuse, they tend to see the funny side. One of these days, I know I’ll go too far but sure I’ll do a post about that too and it’ll all be good.
