I was looking at my local supermarket’s circular and couldn’t believe what I saw. This was one of its specials: “5 pieces of battered fish for $5.” These poor fish have been abused and beaten and this is how they’re treated? Instead of trying to re-locate them to a safer ocean or a shelter, we simply make them the Friday special? Where is Clooney when you really need him? I, for one, am outraged. Shame on you, society. Shame. On. You.
I did my part and had a filet of fish yesterday. I needed salt and that did the trick. See, the fish revived me! LOL
