Computer Viruses Not Welcome Here

Recently, WordPress sites have been under attack.  HumorOutcasts has specific website tools built in to alert us if any viruses or malware have been attached to our site, and we are vigilant in checking for viruses and bad things (my own technical term) each day.

Although two of our writers received warnings that there might be a pesky pest lurking, none of our safeguards have detected anything malicious, so we have gone one step further to ensure that our readers and writers are not the recipients of anything evil. (computer evil not demonic presence evil. I have no say in satanic crap. You are on your own with that – sorry.  I can recommend some help for you though — odd but true.)

We now have added an outside service that will also scan the site in depth each day as a double guard against invaders of the computer kind. We had to go through a screening process to ensure the service that HO was indeed “clean”.  After their own investigation, they also found we were malware free and so we were accepted into their virus-diagnosing little club.   We even got a seal of approval which we will wear proudly to prove our commitment to keeping HumorOutcasts free from bad bugs, worms, viruses, Trojans (computer meanies not condoms) and whatever. The seal is right under our Facebook Like Button – and, oh by the way, if you can get people to hit the Facebook “Like” button as they are admiring our seal, that would be nice too!
