Laundry Can Be Profitable

Today is my day to do the laundry. When I opened up the dryer to be greeted by a gentle snowfall of tissue flakes, I was ready to scold my lovely wife for once again forgetting to check her pockets before putting her clothes into the hamper. But by the time the dryer was empty, I was $14 richer so I decided to encourage her to keep doing what she’s doing. And to start carrying hundred dollar bills.

  1. Mario you may be on to something. If we keep our money in socks I bet you’d never end up with an odd sock! I’d match up every damn one of them to find $20 bucks!

  2. That can only happen (i.e. gaining money by searching pockets after taking things out of the dryer) if said money has not been turned into sodden lumps in the washer, then made into papier-mache in the dryer.

Please tell us your secret. How did you avoid having this inevitable metamorphosis come about?
