When someone says “True story” after telling me something, I assume they’re lying.
Same with “I’ll pay you back” & “I don’t like boy bands.”

I can see why you are a tough lawyer! LOL So, this means when someone tells me an urban legend and says,”It’s true, it happened to my aunt’s friend” I should be suspect?
Donna, you should NEVER believe anyone who says it happened to a friend; especially an aunt’s friend. Translation = lies. All lies.
