Even though store brand products are usually cheaper (and of equal and sometimes even better quality) than name brands, I have to admit I am sometimes hesitant to buy them. It worries me that the store brand that makes my yogurt and peanut butter also makes my wife’s tampons. What if the person operating the machinery is hung over one day and messes things up? I don’t want my yogurt to be extra absorbent and my creamy peanut butter to have wings.

And before you know it, there’ll be traces of horse in the horse meat.
A really good generic product ought to be able to serve many purposes!
I’d worry more about the guy who makes those roach poison thingies, but that’s just me.
You have a valid point. I don’t want roach stuff in my peanut butter.
