Teacher Discriminated Against for Being A Pedophobe

An Ohio teacher is suing her school district for discrimination. The teacher suffers from pedophobia, which is a crippling fear of young children. Apparently, she had an agreement with the school district that she wouldn’t have to teach young children but high school students.

However, when she criticized the school district for wanting to put the French course she teaches online, and thus affecting her job, she was transferred to teach junior high school. She believes this was her punishment for speaking out.

Okay, I think we really need to get to the root of the problem here. What idiot chooses something they’re afraid of as their career? Hello, you’re a teacher. There’s a chance you may one day be teaching—oh I don’t know—young children.

Here’s a crazy thought: If you’re afraid of it, don’t pick it as your career. Makes sense, right? For instance, I’m terrified of snakes and wicker. That’s why I didn’t choose being the dude who plays the flute in front of that basket as a profession.

I’m afraid of commitment so…well…that’s a bad example because I did end up getting married. But in my defense, there is only so much waterboarding a guy can take before he has to put a ring on it. Don’t get me wrong, my wife is an amazing person. Extremely persistent but amazing.

As for that teacher in Ohio, I’m guessing everyday until she retires she will have to explain to parents: “No, no, no. I’m not a pedophile. I’m a pedophobe. I don’t want to molest your children. They scare the shit out of me.”

  1. Not a day goes by without somebody calling me a big child so this teacher who’s afraid of teaching would be afraid of teaching me. This is not cool by any means as I need to learn so much but keep that pedalo away from me because I can’t even swim!

  2. That just doesn’t even make sense. That’s like me saying I’m a writer, but I’m afraid of words. Is there such a thing? Cause now that I think about it, there are certain words that give me the heeby-geebies.

    As always, very funny!
