The decisions of Charlie Drake

I once knew a pigeon from Barcelona by the name of Charlie Drake. Charlie, like most spanish pigeons from Barcelona, dreamt of playing soccer for Barcelona. He was a gifted athlete and after many years of hard work and perseverance, he eventually realized his lifelong dream and played in-goal for his favorite team. He made a lot of money in a short space of time and became a famous pigeon soccer player. Like many successful athletes before him, injuries plagued his career and he ended up retiring from the sport just before his 29th birthday. All he had ever known was soccer and he was finding it difficult, trying to settle back into society with no idea of what he would do next. He never went to pigeon college and had no plan b. In a move that we can all learn from, he decided it was never to late to start a new career and is currently learning a skill that should set him up for life:

    1. Well, even something that comes natural has to be practiced in order to become refined. It’s very easy for birds to just let it fly, so to speak, and there is always a chance it will land on some human’s head. To achieve that each time, though, requires determination, discipline and accuracy.
