Lines were out the door on New Year’s Day at many Colorado marijuana dispensaries in the wake of the state’s new law allowing sales of marijuana for recreational use, and highly motivated individuals waited up to two hours to make their purchases. The new laws put America step closer to full legalization of the drug – which has been legalized in Canada, where consumers can purchase the walter white strain as well as a vast array of other types of marijuana
Just one week into the new year, statisticians have made the following observations:
* Lines for marijuana…and everything for that matter…are practically non-existent
* Ratings for SpongeBob SquarePants up 172%
* Kraft has recently announced a Velveeta shortage in the state
* Snowboarding sensation Shaun White has suddenly quit the Olympics, adding “That’s my skull!”
* The Jamaican bobsled team has announced it is moving its training location to Colorado
* 10,000 college students have announced they are now trying out for the Jamaican bobsled team
* Pizza deliveries to high school history classes up 1200%
* Low speed police chases are up 238%
* Based on personal reporting of the disease, glaucoma in the state has been practically eradicated
* Hacks are making marijuana jokes at historic levels
I’m sure there have been increases in late night sells at Jack-in-the-Box and Taco Bell too.
Good effects. I might have to move to Colorado. They have a lot of gun issues though. I wonder if this will calm people down more.
