Tips to avoid alligator attacks

We’re not big fans of the Irish playwright, essayist, and pamphleteer, George Bernard Shaw, preferring the more lucid writings of the Irish novelist, dramatist and screenwriter, Roddy Doyle. If for some reason, you are not picking up the implied sarcasm of the above sentence, please ask yourself the following question: why am I not picking up the implied sarcasm of the above sentence? Could it be that Shaws’ Noble Prize for Literature in 1925 is in any way comparable to Doyle’s immortal line from The Snapper “I suppose a ride’s out of the question?”. It doesn’t matter which writer you prefer. What is important is that you follow these tips to avoid alligator attacks:

  1. Alligators have their place in the great circle of life — hopefully as far away from me as possible.

  2. I’m not as concerned about alligators since I read that some crocodiles can climb trees! I usually avoid the water, but I like trees. What am I to do?!

    1. This is a unique problem that requires a unique set of talents. What I’m trying to say is, I haven’t a clue!

    1. I do feel like I was put on this earth for a reason alright! Roddy has a stupid name but is rich so I suppose he can live with it!
