Life has a rhythm, a certain pulse, a certain pace. There are certain grown-ups who instinctively know what’s going on around them. We call these people ‘grown-ups who instinctively know what’s going on around them’. We all know these type of people and when we meet them, we get jealous and wonder if we should have learned to read or if we shouldn’t have spent so much time trying to figure out how magnets work or if we should have learned to read and then visited a website called ‘how magnets work’. Some people will look at what you are about to look at and immediately get it while the rest of us, will just have to wait until the realization catches up with us. It doesn’t make us a lesser person, it just means our talents lie elsewhere:
In other words, people who do know the opposites of all those words are in the top 21 percent of the population … or the bottom 21 percent of the population, depending on how you look at it.
True, I think that would be the two ways of looking at it alright.
The aforementioned opposite words make a nice love song title: “Never going to give you up”!
