Oh my! HumorOutcasts.com has become too big for its britches. In doing a few updates, we realized that we had grown far more than we thought, and so to prevent further issues down the road, we have had to switch servers and expand our simultaneous connections and database ( that’s engineering talk and I am just repeating that and don’t know what the hell I am talking about), but it’s legit. This will help speed access in the future making our site not only funny but zippy and allow us to do further upgrades without worrying about crashing. FYI, Go Daddy cannot believe the amount of traffic we get! They are very impressed.
Now, for the bad news. We are in the process of doing all these backups and transfers so it might take us until Saturday to get over to the new system and up and running 100 percent. Please be patient and do not post new content. I will send emails and post on my personal Facebook and HumorOutcasts Facebook when the transition is complete. If you do post, we might have to ask you to re-post again after the upgrades are done. Here’s to another new phase for HO!
