Who Says The New York Times Isn’t Funny?

People think that America’s preeminent newspaper is dry and humorless. Not true. Consider this excerpt from a recent story on MF Global:

As the firm’s leader, Mr. Corzine was upbeat about it’s future, writing an email to employees in 2011: “Let’s be an example of how to do it right and play a leadership role in restoring confidence in our industry.”

The Times is very funny. They just hide it well. And they keep it in the Business Section, where the biggest jokers dwell.
