When Thirsty Dave and Scurvy Jane ended their relationship, it was not the happiest of times. Winter appeared in place of Summer, Autumn and that other season and a cold chill ached at the bones of the natural order of things. Jill Y done the listening thing with the scurvy one and I brought the thirsty one out to get drunk. After 56 beers, the thirsty one decided he was not going to drown in self-pity and we created a profile for him on a dating website. He hasn’t had any responses yet but then again, we only posted it 9 years ago:

I’m not one to cast aspersions but I don’t think the picture is real.
And here I thought there was someone for everyone.
