Please do not stay here
I booked this place in a hurry as the hotel booking I made elsewhere was cancelled. I wish I had read the reviews.
I am stunned that this place hasn’t been shut down.
It is simply uninhabitable. It is absolutely filthy with sticky residue and dirt on all surfaces. It smells damp. There are uncovered sockets with exposed wires near the sink. The outside area is like a rubbish dump.
The last straw for me was the inappropriate behaviour of the creepy man who checked me in who made a pass at me. As a single female traveller I felt felt pretty unsafe.
Other liken their experience to a horror film.
Needless to say, I didn’t stay. Found another hotel near Gatwick.
Hotels.com with whom I made the booking were not remotely interested .
At this price, I was expecting extremely basic but clean accommodation. I honestly don’t think that the rooms here are ever cleaned.

Needs closing down
Just dire.. absolutely filthy, (shared) bathroom looks like it belongs in a horror movie truck stop and after meeting the owner I half expected to end up in a pie. This place could never be cheap enough to be worth it, didn’t want to touch anything or drink the water, thought I’d brave a cuppa only to find yellow teabags and out of date coffee/milk (and not just by days, this was 8 months out of date). Owner is just not capable of the upkeep and was suspicious I’d booked a twin room for just me so I ended up in a single room.
If I’d have been female I’d probably have walked away immediately. Really bad vibes and the owner shared some stories of previous guests that made me think I’d have been better just sleeping at the airport if that’s the clientele it attracts.

Bottom end
This is what the bottom end of the market is like – room ok, shared facilities poor, but ultimately kind. Do be aware of need to phone if you are arriving outside their very minimal hours – in my case a welcome book ut unsought refuge during train strike

ABSOLUTELY TERRIFYING
This was the worst place I have ever ever seen , we have an early flight tomorrow so needed just a room.for the night. Pulled up to a run down building (looked like something of a horror movie) outside was like a building site. Knocked on the door man leant out of top window asked who I was and said hel be down in a minute by this point I had backed so far up the drive .
He then came out and the small that hit me was absolutely horrific.. said we could park the car around the back for the week at a cheaper rate then airport as cars were parked there ( there wasn’t we had tried find somewhere to park) By this point I had said to my friend we can’t stay here tried to make an excuse to leave the man said I need to check in I need your passport to which I replied I haven’t got it can have my provisional.. then showed me to my room.i have never ever seen anything so dirty and run down but what scared.me the most was the inappropriate comments of the man..saying he needs to take a seat because his pregnant asked me if knew how a man got pregnant to which I replied no and he said by either the popes blessing or having sex laid out on my back and its not the first option.. I then messaged my friend to tell her what room I was in because I genuinely believed something awful was about to happen I asked if anyone else was here and he replied yes but people don’t bring their cars because they fly..to which I replied we are flying tomorrow. I then ran to my friends car who had already booked us somewhere else . I Darent go back.to the house so my.friend drove to the front so I could post keys and make a run for.it.. I genuinely felt.like I was in a horror movie. The place is awful how it is still running is beyond me but the hygiene and the man who met me was the thing that did it the most..safe to say I paid nearly 200 pounds to go somewhere else..avoid at all costs!!!!

Worst place I have ever walked into. The building is an Absolute tip, it’s like a dirty squat.
They should be ashamed of themselves.
Terrible is an understatement. Can not believe they can actually expect anybody to be happy with anything they have to offer.
