Beyoncé, Taylor Swift, and Mary, the Mother of God, Will Share Stage at 2024 “Divas of the Universe” Concert

The event is more than a year away, but teenage girls across the nation are already bombarding Ticketmaster with questions about what promises to be the biggest benefit concert in the history of pop music: “Divas of the Universe,” the November 16, 2024 appearance of Beyoncé, Taylor Swift, and the Virgin Mary at AT&T Stadium, the Arlington, Texas home of the Dallas Cowboys.

Organized by Quincy Jones, Justin Timberlake, and Bruno Mars, all proceeds from the event will go to nonprofit organizations working to protect the turquoise water spider, an endangered species native to Peru.

“That’s how we got Mary to sign on,” says Jones.  “She has a soft spot for threatened arachnids.”

Beyoncé and Swift are expected to perform their greatest hits, while Mary will sing back-up and accompany them on tambourine, cowbell, and lyre.  This is the first time Mary will be on stage since her cameo appearance at Carly Simon’s Martha’s Vineyard concert in 1987, where she and Simon sang “Coming Around Again/Itsy Bitsy Spider.”
