Republican “Magnificent Seven” Enter International Clown Hall of Fame

On Sunday, seven prominent Republicans were installed — as a group — into the International Clown Hall of Fame in Baraboo, Wisconsin.  The inductees included the following:

  • Pete Hegseth, Secretary of Defense
  • Robert F. Kennedy, Jr., Secretary of Health and Human Services
  • Linda McMahon, Secretary of Education
  • JD Vance, Vice President of the United States
  • Pam Bondi, former U. S. Attorney General
  • Mike Johnson, Speaker of the U. S. House of Representatives
  • Jeanine Pirro, U. S. Attorney for the District of Columbia

Greg DeSanto, the Hall of Fame’s Executive Director, told reporters that “each of these individuals has achieved what every clown aspires to: the seamless blending of comedy and tragedy.  They have made us roar with laughter even as their antics have led our democracy into a Satanic death spiral worthy of Dante’s Inferno.”

When an AP reporter noted that Kristi Noem was not on the list of inductees, DeSanto responded, “the woman shot her dog.  That’s tragedy without humor.  There’s no way she’s getting in.”
