We should have known something was wrong. The signs were there for all to see. As soon as Thirsty Dave asked if he could bring Jill Y’s dog to the gym each morning, alarm bells should have started ringing. When he started to make Puddles do push-ups for no reason, we really should have asked him what he was up to. All of a sudden, he was spending more time with the dog than he was spending in the pub. We began to notice that Puddles was always dehydrated when he came home but thought nothing of it. It all became clear this morning when the thirsty one showed us his new business venture:
As far as I’m aware, Poccari Sweat is a Japanese brand of sports drink… I think that’s the pet version of the drink… why they would need a sports drink remains to be answered.
