According to Rep. Todd Akin (R-Mo.), “legitimate victims of rape” rarely get pregnant. The ultra-conservative congressman says that women have the ability to shut down whatever it is that gets women pregnant while they are being assaulted. ( I think the term he was looking for was penis, but…) Women everywhere are amazed by his knowledge of female biology. I would like to state my theory that Representative Akin does not have the ability to produce a rational thought as his brain cells have shut down from the many times his foot has been shoved into his mouth. I am pretty sure, that unlike his theory, mine can be proved.
Claire McCaskill is very lucky to have Todd for her opponent! Even the Republicans are looking for an independent write-in candidate now.
It NEVER ceases to amaze me what comes out of a man’s mouth when pontificating his overabundance of knowledge toward a woman’s anatomy!
