Shopping Cart Jagoffs

YJ-ShoppingCart

How does this happen?  Someone just didn’t seem to have enough spare time. in between texting, emails, phone calls, packing the car, to walk their cart to the old cart-herder thingy… which, by the way, is usually less than 10 parking spaces away from any other parking space.

The pic ALSO reminds me to ponder… are you a PUSHER or a WALKER?  Meaning.. someone who walks their cart to within 4 feet of the cart rack and then shoves it like a madman OR someone who walks the thing the extra four feet and simply places the cart in it’s proper place?  I guess it all depends on if you own your own cart or lease it!

Oh wait…maybe the carts are sponsored by MAACO paint and body shop!

Hey… Cart-Pit-Bagger… (oh… that was a nice one) what kind of time would it take out of your self-absorbent busy day to put the cart where it’s supposed to be? And one other question, are you the same people that, when you were younger, you walked your milk glass or cereal bowl over to the dishwasher, but, instead of placing it IN the dishwasher, you placed the item on the counter, 5.46″ away from the dishwasher opening, Ya Jagoff???

  1. It’s only a meter of time before someone makes a film about a cart who has had enough of this behaviour and decides to fight back. I know I’ll buy a ticket to that!

  2. I walk the cart the extra four feet, place the cart in it’s proper place, then shove it like a madman.

    1. I shove it like a mandman four feet into the proper place … but if I miss, I walk forward and put it away right. A guy’s gotta get his shopping fun somewhere.

  3. Thank you for a great Jagoff! I often think, “Yeah, work off some calories from the cakes, giant pizzas, case of beer, and jumbo chip bags you’re loading into your monster SUV and walk your darn cart TEN paces to where it belongs. Sheesh!

    1. Haaa! Thanks Suzette or reading and commenting. I’m with ya. Because of our laziness in the world, grocery stores have to employ people to walk through the parking lot in the rain, cold, heat, etc, to gather carts.

  4. So true. I saw a runaway cart the other day. It was hauling. Why don’t they have “depress this to roll” buttons or something. Is MAACO behind that?
