I’m not big on talking about myself. The less you know about me, the better for both of us. I’m one of those legends who likes to do things rather than talking about doing things. Having said that, if I could have your attention for a moment or two, I would like to draw your attention to what some see as bad in this world.

And so it was, on a certain date, in a certain place, I had a conversation with a certain someone. One of Jill Y’s friends asked why we weren’t joining her for drinks. I told her we were gonna stay in, open a bottle of wine and watch a documentary about the quartz crisis of the 1970’s & 80’s. She asked what wine we had and I didn’t know how to answer because I didn’t know anything about wine. She asked what was written on the bottle and I read it out for her. Something about that stirred something in her because she climbed a giant structure until she was looking down at us with a serious dose of spiteful condescension. She was mocking us for buying inexpensive wine. I didn’t understand this as inexpensive to one person might be expensive to another…
