Ode to My iPhone: Oh How I Love You

Oh iPhone, how do I love you so

with your really big screen

and your gorgeous white glow.

I don’t know how I lived without you for so long;

I was missing texting and pictures;

I was so used to my old phone doing everything wrong.

From photos to internet to songs to maps,

you have everything a girl could need

including calling, writing and so many apps.

A mirror I need, there is an app for that.

Find a restaurant  real quick

in thirty seconds flat.

I love to touch you and play with you,

your skin so smooth, tight and firm.

I will keep you close and keep you new.

Who needs a husband and kids when you’re in my hands

you’re perfect and friendly and smart;

you and I, we can do anything, even start up a band.

Oh i Phone how do I love you so;

I don’t know how I lived without you for so long’;

and I sure as hell will never let you go.

My new iPhone (my first iPhone!)

Julie Wimmer
