Top Gear and the Top Man

About 6.346 days ago, I found myself in a library. I was surrounded by books, people and Librarians. One of the books had many words. There were tables and chairs and some of the people were sitting on those chairs, reading the books. I wondered what it would by like to speak to Captain Jean-Luc Picard of the Starship Enterprise. I wondered what I would say to him and he to me. Years later on the tellybox, watching Top Gear, I saw with mine own eyes, Jeremy Clarkson speak to Picard. Clarkson spoke to the good Capt. and the good Capt. did not disappoint at all, at all:

  1. I suspect they were both telling the truth! BTW, what is “Top Gear” and who is Jeremy Clarkson?! (BTW, It doesn’t automatically mean it is a terrible show if I have heard of it, because I also don’t watch some pretty good shows.)

    1. It’s a UK BBC show about cars. The presenters don’t take themselves too serious and it’s been running for years. I think there’s a US version of it too. Clarkson is not a good presenter and is loved famous for it. It’s one of those shows that you watch just to see Clarkson say and do something stupid.

    1. I remember seeing the episode and Patrick Stewart said it in the most amazing, matter-of-fact way. Classic!

  2. I love Picard. He tells it like it is. Kirk would have danced around that one! They should have Bill Y on the show and then I can finally see who the mystery dude is because he swears he is a dude.

      1. Calm down there now, you’re talking about Capt. Jean-Luc Picard and he commands your respect!

    1. If I won’t go on your radio show, I’m not going to go on that little show! I am a dude Don Don’s. I can send you pics but I think it’s best for all involved that we don’t go down that road! lol

      1. I’m not pestering you to come on either of the radio shows because I’m convinced you are running from the law and need to keep your identity secret, Dude! But one day, you and Thirsty Dave will be drunk as skunks and agree to do the shows. 🙂

        1. Bill Y is running from more than one law and I think Thirsty Dave and I will be drunk as drunk as skunks on quite a few occasions but the witness protection program will not allow the appearance on the radio shows! 🙂
