Being A ‘Good Dancer’ Means You’re ‘Nice’???

The BBC's Graham Norton. Yep, he's gay. And actually, having worked with him, I can tell you....NOT particularly nice.

When you see a guy who’s a REALLY spectacular dancer, your first thought is probably, “yeah, he’s gay”.  And that may or may not be true, you stereotyping asshole. But, according to a new study, we know he’s at least NICE.

The study was carried out at the University of Gottingen,  Germany, and researchers found that men who were judged to have the best dance moves had the best scores in agreeableness and friendliness on personality tests.

For the study, the researchers had men dance, all to the same song. The poor bastards. They had to dance to “Let Me Entertain You”, by ROBBIE WILLIAMS.  The men also took personality tests.

Then they had women watch footage of the men dancing and judged their abilities.

Besides coming out as the NICEST guys, men who scored as better dancers also scored high on risk taking and assertiveness.

Women also judged better dancers as MORE ATTRACTIVE.

Chaps! Did you read that last bit? If we can perfect our ‘Robbie Raves’, we can score hot chicks!

What are we waiting for??? Let’s get together and huddle, as we share our tips and tricks on how to be better dancers, and nice guys. Not TOO close now. What did we JUST get done saying?

Nice, not gay.

Just kidding Gervais. Uncle Neal loves you equally.

  1. Unfortunately the video says “The uploader has not made this video available in your country”. (US – by the way) 🙁

  2. I don’t care how many chicks I would score with, I am NOT going to dance all gay like. I do however manage to do a mean “dirty dancing” routine when well lubricated with adult beverages and the Village People are playing loud and proud. But thats a story for another time.
