SOPA and PIPA – End Piracy Not Liberty

Today, you might notice many big sites such as Wikipedia going black to protest SOPA and PIPA, internet piracy acts soon to be voted on in Congress. If these laws pass, the internet as we know it might change  and once again more power will be delivered to the large  media companies who would like nothing else than to not have to worry about other websites producing content.

Websites like ours would like the opportunity to grow and we feel that SOPA and PIPA  could prevent that from happening.  As a protest, this will be the top article all day. It will not interfere with us promoting our writers’ work.  While internet piracy is a big issue, laws should be written with the input of those in the industry and should protect the rights of internet entrepreneurs, bloggers and content sites.  Protect our rights and join those who want to keep the internet a place where ideas, entrepreneurship and innovation grow.  https://www.google.com/landing/takeaction/
