Jill Y and I were talking. For those not familiar with this concept, it involves having a conversation with someone without text or email. I realize that this might sound radical but it is possible and very rewarding. We were talking about friends and how they can change. Jill Y noticed a massive difference between friends in the 90s and friends today:

I notice the friends of today all have a nice border separating them from all their friends, so they can’t touch each other! In the nineties, they were squeezed together like sardines.
The sardines do look appealing though!
Many of my friends have become caricatures of themselves.
I think I know some of your friends.
We used to say “Oh, that dude is a total question mark.” This is an improvement.

I have it on the highest authority that the three on the left really hate each other!

The word on the street is that they started a Facebook page about it!
It’s special too when your friends have names like >i>”?” or resemble the image on a public bathroom door.
