I’ve never understood chat-up lines although I did once go up to a woman and strike up a conversation about the texture of sandpaper. I don’t think it went too bad considering it was the start of an 11 year relationship. The end of that relationship has a lesson for all and I share it in the hope that you learn from it and don’t make the same mistake that I did:
