I don’t have any money. Can any of you help a sweet, little lady out?

This sword is from the 1700s. She got it at an antique store in her memaw’s home town back in 1984. The person who sold it to her told her to be careful because there is a 90+% chance that it is cursed. Since it’s been in her house her life has descended into pure chaos. Her knitting group came over and they all said they could feel a strange energy in her sword room (She has a collection of over 100 swords. This is her only haunted sword). Since she got this sword, about 3 times a week a crucifix will fall off of her wall for no reason. She is 76 years old. She cannot have this cursed item in her house anymore. Please take it off her hands!!

    1. We’ve cut down to eight swords at this stage. I blame the economy.

  1. This woman appears to be so honest, coming clean about the probable curse and giving specific details for the sake of verisimilitude–but I see at least 3 lies here:

    1. This woman is NOT 76. 96 maybe. (If she’s 76, she HAS been cursed.)
    2. This sword is NOT from the 1700s. Maybe the 1500s but probably the 1400s.
    3. Knitting group!? I don’t think so. More likely they’re making chain mail.

    1. If you feel inclined to bring these points up with her, go right ahead but always remember that she’s carrying a sword that may or may not be cursed.
