An Italian artist has begun a Kickstarter campaign to raise awareness about unnecessary circumcisions. Vincenzo Aiello is hoping to raise $40,000 for the cause. To those who donate $1,000, Aiello will send a framed replica of foreskin made out of silicon. I guess this is what is known as Slice-of-Life art?
Let’s Hear It for the Boys?

He can try to raise awareness all he wants. I won’t do any good. I was only a few hours or days old when it happened. While most likely quite aware of what was happening at the time, I doubt any amount of awareness raising to my newborn brain would have done any good.
Because we all know that one can never have enough silicon foreskins . . . lol!
The puns are, well, swelling in my mind.
Yes, this news item does beckon a plethora of puns
I think there are better and more fun ways to waste $1,000.
I agree Kathy but if you are a guy in search of foreskin, I guess it’s a minor investment?
I think I’ve been in the sun too long.
Just think how that fake foreskin feels!
Someone tried to sell me a brick to hold in my hand, instead of a cell-phone. The idea was to ween you off holding your phone too much. If we apply the same principle here…
Hm Bill Y, let me know how this experiment works out!
Men have hidden their heads in the sand too long on this (t)issue.
HA HA HA!! Bill Spencer! Great response!
Let me get this straight. He’s campaigning AGAINST circumcision, but the donation reward is a ready-to-frame fake foreskin? Something is wrong (and ghoulish) with this picture.
Suzette, he also has a company that makes fake foreskin for men who have had circumcisions so they don’t miss…everything?
Ummm . . . yikes?
My words and thoughts exactly Dinae!
Oh shucks, I only have $999.99.
I’m sending you a penny! Just for the jokes that will ensue!
