HumorOutcasts Radio Interview with Leslie Handler “Rats, Mice, and Other Things You Can’t Take to the Bank”

Leslie Handler is the author of the new book, Rats, Mice, and Other Things You Can’t Take to the Bank subtitled, “An Inspirational Collection of Essays from Humorous to Simply Human.”

During our podcast Leslie takes us on a personal journey from her early life in Texas and the Cayman Islands to her various careers, then a health crisis, and through her transition into writing; which is very fitting because her book is also very personal.

The essays in her book are her individual stories which are not embellished with any creative license. The compositions range from financial issues, raising children, and re-occurrences of mice infestation.

Leslie is a great speaker and is very engaging. I found her to be a very genuine person during our discussion and I have little doubt that that quality came across very well during the writing of her book.
