VE Day

February 14, 2018

As we all learn in school, VE Day is an important day, historically speaking.

Its impact on the world is still being studied by scholars.

VE Day is, of course, Valentines Everywhere Day.

We know that Valentine’s Day is about chocolate, roses and hearts. And the price of chocolate and roses quadruples on this day.

But did you know that the price of heart surgery also quadruples? Only on VE Day. And if you need a quadruple bypass? – it’s quadruple the price. That makes it eight times more expensive. Only on VE Day.

Nine out of 10 Americans can’t scrape together $400 for an emergency expense. Seven out of 10 buy Valentine’s Day gifts for their pet. That 16 out of 10 Americans that need a brain scan to find out what the hell’s going on up there.

I am a graphic designer, humour writer, musician and piano teacher. And that's only during the day. At night I fight crime and hang out with my wonderful family.
