There’s an actor who could improve any movie, and yes, I am serious.
I read that he enjoyed life so much better after the film because he learned to laugh at everything.

Leslie Nielsen was an absolute wizard.
Someone recently told me when they were filming Airplane!, they adopted a ‘one gag for the audience and one for ourselves’ rule and the “Shirley” gag was only thrown in to amuse the cast. Neilsen’s serious delivery elevated it to genius.
