Trump Versus Murdoch – The Fight Of The Decade!!!
When I first heard about Trump suing The Washington Post I was horrified and angered. It seemed to be another step in Trump The Grump’s assault on all things Constitutional and Democratic and on anyone who goes against his will.
Then I was reminded that the Post was owned by Rupert Murdoch, the founder and owner of Fox News, the ‘All-American’ Media Machine that only believes in Right Wing notions even though it is owned by an Australian family. I then realized this could be a real treat to see the two former buddies go at it with each other. It will be better than any of those King Kong Versus Godzilla movies! (Trump resembles Kong more so he can play that role while Murdoch definitely has more of the Godzilla’s looks these days.)
Murdoch, an Aussie by birth, made a fortune in his own country with a media empire, and, being eternally greedy (like his new rival Donald) decided to add some British pounds to his bank roll and set up shop in Merry Olde England and also reaped success.
He came, he saw, he conquered.
He wanted still more.
Rupert then cast avarice eyes upon our beloved land and thought to himself how much he would love to have some of our beloved money. He gazed longingly across the Atlantic and saw America stretched out from sea to shining sea like an overstuffed turkey waiting to be plundered and basted. He came and ravaged.
He bought a couple newspapers to begin with and threw all his finances into them overwhelming the competition. Then he started a television station and became the fourth channel in the U.S. that was until then dominated by only CBS, NBC and ABC. Catering only to the right wing that felt itself left out of the spotlight by the other three channels FOX News took off like a shot. Today in a great irony they dominate the televising of American football and score touchdowns of American Dollars as a result.
Murdoch was once Trump’s Main Man- promoting the former Reality Series ‘Star’ and bankruptcy King into looking like a real Presidential candidate. His Fox News bolstered The Donald when, unbelievably, his pollings began to outdo all the other actually legitimate Republican nominees. Murdoch knew a good race horse when he saw one and bridled and rode him successfully. He backed Trump all the way. Once it was obvious that Trump was going to be the Repub candidate in 2016 he threw the entire menagerie of Fox mouthpieces to chant his praises.
It worked!
Trump became President and Murdoch had a guaranteed cash waterfall for the next four years. When he lost Trump cried like a baby that had his Scepter stolen and Fox backed him up on that. They also came out for him like a locomotive when he began his 2024 campaign (in reality, his whole 2016 Presidency was one long campaign with a couple bill signings thrown in……). With Trump throwing every dirty trick and fib possible to not only win the Kingship again (in his eyes anyway) but also to make it more difficult for those with the Law backing them up from throwing him in the prison he so verily deserved, he won again, much to the bemusement and ghastly foreboding of much of the world.
But now the tide has turned. Murdoch cut into Trump’s thin skin with a cartoon he found giving a lewd, but lovely message to his bud Epstein- a drawing of a naked woman and Trump hinting at an affection for young female flesh that he shared with the now deceased money man.
Trump didn’t like it. And he figures it is worth $10 billion dollars of Murdoch’s ill gained money to get his ‘honor’ back. Trump has always been one to throw old friends under the bus when it was necessary. Remember Elon Musk? Yeah, I thought you would……
This is going to be good. What makes it even better is that the other billionaire (what’s his name again?) is somewhere waiting in the wings just like the Phantom Of The Opera to pounce from his perch at an opportune moment. After all, it was he resuscitated the old Epstein thing again.
Get the popcorn and beer out folks- this is going to be better than watching UWW wrestling, only even more phony!

Ruppert Murdoch now spends his retirement chasing younger women, marrying them then they divorce him and are rich themselves.
