We certainly didn’t see this one coming. Thirsty Dave has only gone and become a poet. I suppose we shouldn’t be too surprised, he can ask for a beer in 6,700 languages. I’m someone who likes to understand the meaning of words but I don’t understand why he had to get the words of his very first poem, tattooed on himself:

 

The thirsty ones wordy ways made us think and we thought about the origins of the word “microwave”. It’s amazing what you can find when you really look for information on the web these days:

    So, a million microwaves is equal to one wave? That’s going to be one tired (but friendly) midget!

    The poetry brought me to tears and I have never heard the term “microwave” used in any other form but as a kitchen appliance.
