Pat Robertson: Gays Carry Killer AIDS Rings, Mikey Died From Pop Rocks and Coke

Recently on the 700 Club, Pat Robertson informed his co-host of the sick and twisted trick that gay people use to spread AIDS to the general public.

“You know what they do in San Francisco, some in the gay community there they want to get people so if they got the stuff they’ll have a ring, you shake hands, and the ring’s got a little thing where you cut your finger. Really. It’s that kind of vicious stuff, which would be the equivalent of murder.”

When asked if he was just parroting a long-debunked urban legend, he continued:

“Oh, no… Golly no. I think I’m a little sharper than that, don’t you think? It’s a dangerous world out there. You also don’t want to flash your automobile lights at anyone to remind them to turn them on, because that’s how gangs are initiating their members to cold blooded murder. You don’t want to be their hapless target. You don’t want to take your sweetie up to inspiration point. One time a couple got home and there was a hook hanging from the car door handle! Don’t have a drink in a bar or you’re liable to wake up with your kidneys taken out. And most importantly, do not under any circumstances eat Pop Rocks and then drink Coke. One time this poor little fella…Mikey was the name…he hated eating just about anything, until he had some kind of cereal…supposed to be good for you. I don’t rightly recall the name of the cereal at this point, but he had those Pop Rocks candies and then drank Coke. Poor little guy’s stomach just flat out exploded. I still pray for that sad kid’s soul to this day.”

Robertson went on to explain that he always tells the grandkids to wait at least 30 minutes after Pop Rocks before drinking Coke.
