The day Hugh Hefner told Jroe that a little respect will take you a long way

My parents were never accused of being conventional despite their names ‘Al The Conventional’ and ‘Conventional Mary’. Al and Mary always listened to Frank Zappa, watched the films of Alejandro Jodorowsky and dressed me in no clothes. This music and these films had a profound effect on me and I was constantly cold. If there was one thing I learned from my folks, it was that Sesame Street of the 70s was more realistic than Coronation Street of the 70s, the 70s was the best decade for music and that honesty, integrity and respect for everybody except bland musicians was the only true path in life. I’ve never forgotten those words but I’m afraid Jroe might not fully understand what respect is all about. Not to worry though, Hugh Hefner is mentoring him:
