I’m not sure if I’m ill or developing a conscience or something but lately I’ve been giving back to society. There are many families who grew up listening to Bon Jovi before finding Tom Waits and Nick Cave. Some of these families have kids and I’ve been donating 8 minutes of my time each week to teach the kids about music. As a father of two imaginary kids, you learn to speak down to them on their level:
Not many kids today could play that note, Bill.
I know some so-called adults who are the same.
