Custom Shoe Rack

One moment I had a beer. The next moment I had no beer. The only thing that happened during those moments, was the brief appearance of Thirsty Dave followed by the swift disappearance of Thirsty Dave. As you can imagine, I wasn’t simply going to put the phone down, take off the blindfold and stop the car but that’s exactly what I did. In moments like this, I become massively confused and invent things. What happened next, happened for a reason though I know not what that reason was. I decided to invent the custom shoe rack and have been poor ever since:

    1. Agreed. I just can’t believe how I didn’t come up with it years ago!

  1. I kind of go for the shoe rack too. It’s a nice space- saver and less dangerous than the blindfold. On the other hand, half of Minnesota drivers wear blindfolds, and it’s amazing how well we’ve adapted.

    1. And it didn’t even take me too long to invent it. I just thought about what Jill Y cherishes most in this world and wondered where I could put them!

  2. I’m glad you relieved Donna’s concerns. I wasn’t going to ask about the blindfold, the phone and the car because I have learned, after all this time, that your nonsequiturs are inevitable and highly entertaining.

That shoe rack would have looked wonderful in my Dad’s back yard shed. It’s too bad you weren’t around at that time to invent it.

    1. Thanks Kathy, you have a way of making me feel comfy with my nonsense and that’s a talent and a half!

  3. Now, I am more concerned over the blindfold and driving thing than I am with the con man version of the shoe rack. But I am a very practical person. I sort of like the idea of this shoe rack!
