Local man Dylan Colson, watching television far past 2:00am, is starting to seriously suspect that the hard-hitting news program which features earnest reporters discussing the ins and outs of the “Ab Killer” might not actually be a news program after all.
“There’s a news desk and a well dressed woman holding a microphone interviewing people. She must be a reporter. One person even has a lab coat on, so he’s obviously a doctor or some type of man of science. Now they are sitting down by a fireplace. This must be the serious portion of the report. I don’t really hear anything negative about the Ab Killer, so it must be pretty good. And a tough reporter like this wouldn’t leave any stone unturned when it comes to something like this. But on the other hand, I don’t remember the last time the news has talked this long about a piece of exercise equipment. Not to mention the flashing phone numbers on the screen. And not one bit of national news.”
Colson is going to give it another 15 minutes to see if he can confirm his possible suspicions.
This is exactly why I turn off my TV at 10 p.m. This and the fact that I’m old and out of shape and would probably try to buy that thing.
Wait … it’s a commercial?!
They are not journalists until they report on the walk in tubs.
Anyone who watches infomercials after 2:00 AM deserves to be confused! 😉
